Jump-Starting a Stalled Strategic Plan Implementation Effort
Strategic Planning Success StoryThe Client
A national veterinary association.
The Challenge
This group had a strategic plan in place, but had lost their sense of purpose in connection with it. Board members and others were working on the initiatives but operating with no real direction, no coordination among teams, and no results.
The Solution
A good strategic plan doesn’t do any good without the appropriate structure, process, and organizational alignment to ensure there is no duplication of efforts, and those involved are not working at cross-purposes. In addition to focusing efforts, we continued to report on progress being made to the executive director and board leadership, so everyone was on the same page.
