The organization’s growth had stagnated, and the board of directors and the executive director were in conflict. They couldn’t easily define their problems, but they knew they did not want to continue repeating unproductive actions.
We conducted a 360-degree analysis of the staff, board, operations, and overall structure, which included in-depth interviews with key stakeholders as well as industry-related data analysis. This resulted in a report outlining the organization’s strengths and weaknesses along with actionable recommendations for addressing the problems. We offered explanations for why the board was misfiring and how the bylaws could guide this relationship as well as an examination of whether or not the organization was correctly positioned in the industry.
